Service Saturday August—Bag Stenciling

Posted on
On August 27th members gathered at Yolanda Joosten’s home to stencil bags for the new member project. The blue and yellow reusable grocery bags and stencils were provided by Nichole Parr. Lori Smith and Susie Wallace supplied paints, painting sponges and brushes. With creativity and conversation flowing the group was able to paint 53 bags that were needed for the new member project. There were so many beautiful bags created. Special thanks go to the following people:
  • Lori Smith who hand created additional stencils with an education theme to be used on the bags.
  • Yolanda Joosten for hosting so many people with such a potentially messy project.
  • Nichole Parr for finishing the bags needed to successfully achieve the new member project goal.
Remember that Service Saturday is the fourth Saturday of every month. This is a great opportunity to get to know other members while accomplishing tasks. Altrusa MembersDecorated Bags
